ABOUT MICHELLE

This isn’t what I thought midlife would be like.

So many body changes, seemingly overnight.
Strange symptoms no one talks about.
I thought I’d feel older, if not wiser.

Yet I also have a greater sense of myself, deepened compassion and appreciation for the seasons of life.

No matter your decade, my guess is you’ve had similar feelings.

What does yoga look like at your age?

If you search “yoga over 50,” you’ll see photos of contorted pretzels, Cirque du Soleil backbends, and a woman doing a handstand on a basketball.

That’s amazing, it’s just not what my body is into. How about yours?

What about a practice for those of us who have full lives but want to make time for ourselves, who know we have to pay attention to our health, and who want to feel strong, flexible and fit? (Without hurting ourselves!)

i am a masterful spaceholder. I am a guide in the depths.

I pull from 20 years of serious study of somatics (the mind-body connection) and an extensive knowledge of sacred psychology and mythology.

This deep and sacred work happens on the mat, as well as in Somatic Life and Business Coaching sessions.

People come to me for support with their business (bring your imposter, perfectionism or identity challenges), big life transitions and decisions, and getting unstuck from resentment, anger or an old hurt. We all need a place to say anything and feel free of shame.

My deepest wish is for you to have your own back and hold all parts of yourself as sacred and worthy. It would be an honor to support you there, on or off the mat.

EVERY SINGLE PART OF YOU IS WELCOME HERE.

Life is messy. Human bodies go through all kinds of stuff — some brilliant and some painful. There are days you sing in the shower and days you yell at the dog. There’s no part of yourself you need to hide here. Let’s do the radical work of being fully human together.
